Stussy has joined forces with Converse for its latest sneaker collaboration.

Converse Pokemon Jiggly Crewneck Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Ox canvas sneakers in white styles, the legendary streetwear brand has will deliver a new Converse and JW Anderson revisit the 2017 collab before week’s end.

Stussy shared a teaser of the sneaker on the social media platform earlier this week, which shows that the collab will don a predominantly black canvas upper that’s contrasted by a classic white rubber toe cap, and white shoelaces. The collab’s standout design is the star embroidery on the lateral side of the ankle collar while a white vulcanized tooling sits underneath.

With the coastal roots of the classic Chuck Taylor shoe, many envision Converse and summertime as mutually exclusive activities. Chuck Taylor’s new collaboration with Stussy will bring attention to two classic Converse silhouettes: the Chuck 70 and the One Star. The high and low top designs emulate the nostalgia of the black hemp Chuck that rose to popularity in the late 90s. Featuring an embroidered star logo, alongside foxing umlauts that reference the Stüssy brand, the shoe’s unvarnished black design is a salient reference to SoCal style.

Priced at $110 for the Chuck 70 and $100 for the One Star, both shoes will be available at select chapter stores, select Dover Street Market locations and stussy.com Converse Launches Third Chuck Taylor Andy Warhol Collection.

Stussy has a long history of working with Converse. In 2015, the brands came together to deliver a special Converse One Star Ox plimsolls to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the streetwear brand. A year later, the duo teamed up again to reimagine the classic One Star silhouette.

The latest Stussy x Converse and JW Anderson revisit the 2017 collab will be released this Friday at Stussy.com and at select Stussy stockists. At the time of publication, retail pricing for the collab has not yet been announced by either of the parties involved.

In related Converse news, the brand debuted its colorful 2022 “Pride” collection last month along with its “Found Family” campaign, which was designed to share the values of support and love within the LGBTQIA+ community.
